The East Midlands, The North East of England

This DVD covers the East Midlands and the North East of England. We begin at Leicester at the Great Central Station where experimental gas turbine locomotive GT3 is seen in the shed. Then it’s North to Derby, via Loughborough and Nottingham. From Nottingham we join the East Coast main line at Grantham and experience the majesty of the Gresley Pacifics at work, before moving North to Doncaster and York. A brief visit to the Thirsk and Darlington area and then we cross to West Yorkshire for some steam trains on the magnificent Settle and Carlisle Line.
