One of F1’s most colourful characters James Hunt is remembered in Downloads, DVDs and more at DukeVideo.com. As famous for his off-track lifestyle as his on-track ability and tussles with Niki Lauda, James Hunt was one of the largest characters of Formula 1 racing in the 1970s. After his racing career he became a popular commentator for BBC’s Grand Prix coverage, until his untimely death in 1993 aged just 45. We have a range of Downloads and DVDs recalling the best of his racing exploits – including the full story of his World Championship-winning season in 1976 with McLaren – as well as Books and Prints featuring the man who first became famous as ‘Hunt the Shunt’. A favourite image here at Duke is Hunt living up to his nickname during the 1977 US GP.
