Watch original British rallying hero Roger Clark in action oh Download and DVD. Roger Clark was the original British rallying hero, making his mark in an era of the World Rally Championship dominated by Scandinavians. With victory in the 1972 RAC Rally, Clark became the first British driver to win the event since the late 1950s, and in 1976 the last Brit driver to win it for another 15 years. He scored 40 national and international wins, including six victories on the Scottish Rally and notable success on the Acropolis in 1968 and Circuit of Ireland in 1970. He is most closely associated with the legendary Ford Escort RS, in which he won three of his four British Rally Championship titles. As the great Roger Albert Clark remains a firm favourite here at Duke, it’s hard to know which of our great programmes to recommend, but we would strongly suggest you don’t miss the Ford film Our Man Clark, which shows him at his best, and Roger Albert Clark In-Car 1984, a wonderful opportunity to ride alongside one of the greatest names in rally history.
