One of the closest finishes ever in the World Sportscar Championship was the nail-biting finale at the 1985 1000 Spa-Francorchamps race. The chief protagonists were the factory Porsche and Jaguar teams, the former in various team guises and specifications. The cameras were in all the right places to capture the very best of the action, from the hairpin at La Source, to the legendary dip and turns of Eau Rouge. Thierry Boutsen, Derek Warwick, Eddie Cheever, Jochen Mass and Bruno Giacomelli were out to impress, as were Derek Bell and Hans Stuck. The slick pit-work is also recorded, but pride of place goes to the final sprint down the hill to the finish. Enjoy!
