Between 1979 and 1988, when Joey was at the height of his powers as a road racer, the Ballymoney publican stood on the top step of the North West 200 podium no less than 13 times. After his big crash in 1989 he never won the race again.
This programme examines his 13 wins through rare archive footage, interviews with Joey’s friends and racing rivals of that period, and classic interviews with ‘Yer Maun’ himself.
