A short but memorable documentary that captures the TT comeback of Mike Hailwood in 1978 after 11 years of self imposed retirement. By that time he had become bored, as he says, with his '9-to-5 lifestyle' and chose the formidable 37.7 mile Isle of Man TT course for his return to racing. Mounted on the fine handling but relatively underpowered machine V-Twin Ducati (compared with Phil Read's much faster 4-cylinder Honda) he proved as formidable as ever. Mike also entered the Classic TT race on a Yamaha against Pat Hennen, Tom Herron and John Williams - all noted for their speed around the TT circuit.
