Audi has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans numerous times. Every victory recorded by the brand with the four rings in the endurance classic, which is regarded as the most important sportscar race worldwide, has written motorsport history.
Since 1923 more than 50 cars fight annually for the spoils of victory.
“To win here changes the life of a racing driver,” says Tom Kristensen, with eight wins to his name the most successful driver in 24 Hours of Le Mans history.
Among the Audi triumphs, the victories in the years 2008 and 2011 were especially outstanding.

Truth in 24 II documents the 10th, and arguably most emotional, win. After two Audi R18 TDI cars retired following spectacular accidents, the remaining Audi fought a dramatic battle for overall victory with the Peugeot 908 cars – which Audi drivers André Lotterer, Benoît Tréluyer and Marcel Fässler ultimately won by the narrow margin of 13 seconds. The film captures the drama of the fourth-narrowest running of the Le Mans 24 Hours – with intimate insights into the team of Audi Sport and breath-taking footage.
