Battling Brit Dave Thorpe (literally) bounced back to top form in round 9 of the 1990 World 500 Motocross Championship which took place in searing temperatures in Luxembourg. The dethroned King of Motocross proved he had shaken off his recent run of mediocre finishes with a blasting performance against the likes of Erik Geboers (Honda), Luxembourg licence holder Jacky Martens (KTM), Dirk Geukens (Honda) and Britain's ever popular Kurt Nicoll (KTM). The action-packed round reached fever pitch in the second leg when the big Berkshire man and Belgian ace Dirk Geukens scrapped all the way from holeshot to finishing line. What a race! You'll love it!!
