Peter Hickman also broke through into the ranks of the winners of international road races with a formidable win in the Superbike race, holding off legends like Michael Dunlop and Conor Cummins.

Mullingar’s Derek McGee was another welcome addition to those who took the top step – this time for the Supertwin race.
