This documentary takes a look at Marc Marquez’s record-breaking first season in MotoGP™, where he proved himself as the best newcomer of 2013.
The rider from Cervera in Spain, is a former 125cc and Moto2TM World Champion and certainly has made his mark in the big leagues.
Fighting for the title all the way with team mate Dani Pedrosa, two-time World Champion Jorge Lorenzo and his childhood hero Valentino Rossi, Marc’s not allowed himself to be overawed or edged out.
In addition to an interview with Marquez himself, it also features the views of some of the key people surrounding him, as well as some insight from his direct competitors out on track – they’re not all fans!
"With a title that's fashionably compressed to resemble a message on social network Twitter, this new DVD promises to get 'Beyond the Smile' of the rider who slackened jaws and ploughed furrows on rivals' brows by winning the MotoGP title at his first attempt - but has thrown his 2014 testing into disarray with a broken leg. The fascinating Mr Marquez has the potential to emulate Rossi as the talisman of MotoGP racing and this DVD features footage of his career so far, an interview with the 21-year-old and also takes in the views of his track rivals. The promo message for the 81-minute DVD suggests not everyone who shares a track with him is a fan. Quelle surprise!" - MCN 2014
