Jarama 1988 provided plenty of fireworks. Kevin Schwantz had won the Japanese GP, Eddie Lawson the American GP and Wayne Gardner was keen to place the Honda factory back on top.
The Yamahas had found extra speed and handling and Lawson was determined to win back his world title.
Gardner's fellow Australian Kevin Magee was thought to have a good chance, while American Wayne Rainey was showing his early promise had been no fluke.
The cameras capture the finest of the action on the demanding Jarama track with the riders leaning over the bikes to seemingly impossible angles.
The phenomenal acceleration, the shattering braking ability and the flat-out speed on the straights provide plenty of excitement.
