The 1988 Bol d'Or was the shortest ever, a Cote D'Azur monsoon halted the proceedings after just 14hrs 33mins. But it was still a magnificent race, with the Big Four Japanese factories fielding works entries ridden by hard-chargers of Superbike and Endurance racing and a sprinkling of GP stars. Dominique Sarron, Pierre Etienne Samin, Herve Moineau and Roger Burnett are the stars of the track and in the pits Videovision put you in all the best vantage points. The cameras also give you a flavour of the side-show attractions - including pop group Motorhead putting on a terrific performance despite the weather!
