Woodchurch Wings and Things is a hidden gem among air shows, with a
dedicated and enthusiastic team of volunteers organising an amazing
collection of classic warbirds and stunning displays.
The Little Engeham Farm location, just yards from the site of Woodchurch's
wartime advanced landing ground, is the perfect setting for the mouth-watering
array of classic military aircraft, superb aerobatics and parades of vintage and
custom cars.
The 2005 show was a classic, featuring rare and fantastic aircraft in all their
glory. Enjoy the sights and sounds in this wonderful commemorative
programme, capturing the atmosphere and action in incredible flying
sequences, footage from inside cockpits, interviews and informed commentary.
Among the many highlights are appearances by examples of Hurricane,
Spitfire, Douglas Skyraider, Corsair, Mustang and the truly wonderful B-17G
Sally-B.
The show also features displays from a Tiger Moth, Boeing Stearman, Miles
Magister, a trio of Chipmunks, a T-33A Silver Star, Jet Provost T3A, a
Messerschmitt Me108 and many, many more.
