Product description

It’s dangerous, dramatic and downright dirty - welcome to the action-packed world of extreme four-wheel-driving. This great value, three-disc collection features three of the best off-road programmes ever, loaded with unbelievable driving, sensational skills and top tips on making the most of your 4WD - including some awesome advanced advice.

4WD on the Edge - Get ready for 60 minutes of mental mud-plugging action, featuring an awesome 4WD off-road challenge in mid-Wales, a 4WD Safari event at Sweet Lamb and a mixture of Greenlaning and Trials from the Isle of Man 4WD club. Spend an action-packed day at Eastnor Castle, the home of Land Rover testing, plus there's a fascinating visit to the Bowler factory where some of the most powerful Land Rovers in the world are created. There's loads of tips about prepping a vehicle for an off-road rally and then hold on for our onboard blast with the Bowler test driver!

Extreme 4WD and Off-Road - Travel through three continents looking for the most unusual off-roaders around. Discover where it all started, with the World War 2 Jeep, witness the almost demented actions of cars, bikes and trucks crossing the Sahara in the Paris-Dakar rally, see 700hp, 150mph desert racing in the US and ‘competition safari’ in England. Plus, there’s wild and wacky stadium racing with trucks, quads and mini-buggies! Get set to plough the deepest mudholes, bounce off rocks and tree roots and ride with trials drivers through sections most people would fear to tread!

This is Advanced 4WD - Welcome to the rugged, tough and taxing world of advanced 4WD ‘recreation’. Superb close-up and on-board footage takes you to - and sometimes over! - the edge of this punishing pursuit, revealing the extraordinary capabilities of the giants of off-road motoring. Discover the best way to tackle demanding terrain, witness just how far you can push these rugged off-roaders in racing and off-road trials, and get a fascinating inside view from leading competitors. Plus, there’s safaris, the famous Camel Trophy, Hill Rally and many more off-road highlights.
