Product description

The Intercontinental Rally Challenge combines classic events with innovative new rallies, and veteran drivers with rising stars, to present rallying at its spectacular best.

Now you can relive all the excitement of the 2008 season in the Official Review, featuring highlights from all 10 rounds of the battle for the IRC crown. Stunning action footage, including plenty from helicopter-mounted cameras and inside the cars, puts you at the heart of the IRC as the title chase travels the globe.

Our cameras were there to capture the high-speed drama from the asphalt and gravel special stages of Turkey, Portugal, Ypres, Russia, Madeira, the Czech Republic, Spain, San Remo, Switzerland and China.

Peugeot's Luca Rossetti topped the championship table early on, while colleague Freddie Loix and Abarth driver Giandomenico Basso took wins to ensure the title hunt would go down to the penultimate round. However, there was nothing anyone could do about the incredible pace and consistency of Nicolas Vouilloz, who finished on the podium in every single round he contested.

The Official Review features the full story of the 2008 IRC season, including the drama of Juha Hanninen's victory in his first S2000 event, Jarkko Miettinen's stunning Chinese win and the appearances of plenty of rally greats, including Francois Duval and World Champion Didier Auriol.

Special Feature: Spectacular and action-packed aerial footage from eight rounds of the 2008 Intercontinental Rally Challenge.
