This Shell Oils programme presents the Scottish Rally in all its glory with great stages, great weather and some of the finest drivers and cars in the World on the limit.

From helicopter shots of the forests as dawn breaks on another blissfully hot day of stage action to the slow- motion sequences of some rather interesiting incidents(!), this production has it all.

And for Scottish fans, what better result! Jimmy McRae finally does it - and in some style too!  But it wasn't easy against a field that included Didier Auriol and Mark Lovell in Sierra Cosworths, Pentti Airrikalla in the Mistubishi Starion, Per Eklund in a Nissan turbo and Malcolm Wilson in an Astra GTE. And that's not forgetting Colin McRae in  the early stages of his career doing things with the Nova way beyond whatever Vauxhall intended.
