The first full year of racing for the Nissan GT-R was always going to be interesting. The works team fielded two cars, which dominated the year - but they also dragged additional performance from the Sierras and works Holdens, and were constantly worried by the nimble and ultra-reliable BMWs.
The 1991 SATCC comprised nine races in six States, and saw champion Jim Richards with another title to his name, and his second in succession. Interest was heightened this year with Peter Brock and Larry Perkins teaming-up in Commodores, mixing it with the Holden Racing Team works car. 1989 champion Dick Johnson, John Bowe, Glenn Seton and Colin Bond were struggling in their once all-conquering Sierras and the two B&H BMWs of Longhurst and Jones were always the cars to watch in the closing stages of each round of the series.
The second in this exciting new series, these tapes contain top quality action highlights of all nine races as well as previously unseen material.
