In the summer of 1994, a celebration of one hundred years of magical motorsport took place. The event was the Festival of Speed held in the grounds of Goodwood House. The Festival proved to be the most spectacular event ever held. An array of cars such as the Type 158 Alfa Romeo, Mercedes Benz, the latest McLaren Peugeot and Williams Renault were present with legends Stirling Moss, John Surtees, Martin Brundle (who wowed the crowds by smashing ten seconds off the course record in the McLaren Peugeot) David Coulthard and Christian Fittipaldi. The special atmosphere of a truly glorious motoring festival are captured here for your enjoyment.
