The Official Review of the 2016 Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship is packed with thrilling action as the MX circus rolls around the best tracks in the British Isles, thrilling crowds and setting hearts racing.
The calendar featured well-loved staples of the scene including Lyng, Canada Heights, Desertmartin and Foxhill, as well as newer additions Preston Docks and Leuchars in Scotland.
The entry list was also a good mix of new and old names, particularly in MX1.
Familiar names such as Shaun Simpson, Tommy Searle, Gert Krestinov, Tanel Leok and Brad Anderson meant the quality was always expected to be high, and in no way did the season disappoint.
On dirt, mud and sand the best of Britain’s best came together at eight adrenaline-pumping rounds to battle over massive jumps, steep, berms and treacherous ruts with no quarter asked or given.
It’s impressive to see the just how hard these guys can go elbow-to-elbow on such challenging terrain – but they don’t always get it right. Watch out for some massive pile-ups and sickening wipe-outs as the season progresses.
With full highlights of each class at every round of the season there’s loads for any MX fan to enjoy on the review – nearly four hours in total - and with multiple camera points, including on-bike, you’ll be on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
