In 1920, ex-works rider Harold Wood started his own film production company. He had one objective in mind: capturing the art of motorcycling on film. By the early 1990s his company, C H Woods, had become the world’s best known producer of bike titles with over 400 films to their credit, including comissions for Norton, BSA, Triumph, Honda and Yamaha.
This wonderful, nostalgic collection uses footage from Wood’s definitive archive to take you right back into the heart of the ‘50s and ‘60s British Motocross scene. It recalls a time when bikes (and cameras!) were heavy; when success depended on the application of steely determination. This is Yorkshire has grit in abundance. The content includes:
