Britain's Dave Thorpe fully justified Honda's faith in him by winning the 1985 500cc World Motocross title at a saturated Swiss Grand Prix. It was an absolute mud-bath as Thorpe bravely decided to give it everything in the first race. The cameramen brilliantly captured the world's top moto-crossers slithering and sliding in the slime of Wohlen. Arch-rival to Thorpe, Belgian André Malherbe was in no mood to give up his 1984 world title without a fight. This film shows him in ruthless and determined battle as he won the battle but lost the war.
