World Championship action from the World’s best!
The Sheffield Arena Trial has become synonymous with the skill, fitness, strength, agility and control needed by today’s top-class trials riders.
Competing on one of the toughest courses ever constructed, the riders have to use all their talents to tackle the obstacles before them.
The stakes were especially high as the event marked the first round of both the World and European Indoor Trials Championships – meaning there were valuable points to be garnered.
Dougie Lampkin was keen to roll his winning form from ’97 into ’98 – despite having to compete on a standard production machine due to delays in delivery of his factory machine.
Great rival and three-times World Champ Marc Colomer was aiming to get back on top form again.
Kenichi Kuroyama, Takahisha Fujinami, David Cobos, Martin Crosswaite, Graham Jarvis and Steve Colley all turned in superb performances, making for an event no one will forget in a hurry.
Sit back and enjoy 90 minutes of high-quality trials entertainment from another classic indoor encounter.
