This is an action-packed look back at the amazing 2011 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain Championship battle.

Over two discs we are treated to spectacular racing, and vital passes and crashes of the 19-round 2011 series are here to enjoy in mouthwatering action footage. Although not every round is featured in this review, it is packed with highlights from 14 rounds.

In 2011, the one-make series saw the introduction of the latest model 911 GT3 Cup, with all drivers competing in identical models of the stunning 450bhp car.

This is the fastest car ever seen in the Carrera Cup GB and ensured the championship retained its position as the fastest one-make category in Britain.

The vehicle has a 3.8-litre flat six-cylinder boxer engine developing 450 bhp and sequential six-speed manual gearbox, weighs in at 1,200 kg (2,646 lb) and is the racing version of the 911 GT3 RS.

James Sutton came out on top in a three-way championship battle that saw the one-make championship produce close, exciting racing from huge grids.

Sutton and SAS/Redline teammate Michael Meadows led the way all year, with Sutton taking eight consecutive podium finishes in the first four meetings including three wins. Meadows didn’t finish outside the top five in the first eight races, taking his first series win at Donington Park.
Meadow’s consistency saw him go to the final weekend leading the championship standings, but at Silverstone Sutton refused to give up the chase.

Also in the championship fight for most of the year was Stephen Jelley, with four wins and seven other podiums. However, retirements were his downfall.

There were also great performances from Euan Hankey and rookies Richard Plant, Sam Tordoff and Benji Hetherington.

Michael Caine and Tim Harvey also made race appearances during the year.

The DVD brings fans action from all the favourite British circuits, including Knockhill, Rockingham, Oulton Park, Brands Hatch and Snetterton.
