Not many cars become legends the moment they roll out of the factory but Ford's Escort RS Cosworth is one of them.  Hand-built to take on the emerging Japanese dominance in the 'Group A' category of the World Rally Championship, the "Cossie" proved a success on the forecourt as much as on the World's rally stages. 

It's been more than thirty years since the car was first introduced, but the Escort RS Cosworth is still very much a 'dream car' for many and you'd be lucky to buy a very good condition example at auction now for less than £70k, which is three-times it's original value!
