Within only a few months of his international race debut, Jarno Saarinen, Finnish ice-racing champion, went from obscurity to being the name on the lips of every motorcycle racing fan and many believed "The Baron" would become one of the greatest ever motorcycle GP racers. 

Having signed for Yamaha and in only his third season, Jarno won the 250cc championship in 1972 and is the only Finn to win a motorbike world title. He finished 2nd in the 350cc world championship class in the same year and in 1973, beat rideers on 750cc machines whilst riding a mere 350cc at the Imola 200.

Tragically, one month after the 'Imola 200' in 1973, Jarno Saarinen and Renzo Pasolini were killed during the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, but Saarinen's legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of his beloved fans.  This t-shirt from the powersport legends collection, is our tribute to a remarkable talent on two wheels and hugely likeable character who was adored by his many fans.
