Bernard Fau, French Grand Prix racer from the Continental Circus, was one of the riders of the "French Generation" of the 1970s.
Alongside Pons, Rougerie, Sarron, Bertin, Balde, Bolle, Saul and Fernandez, Fau flew the tricolore proudly over the race circuits of Europe.
Now 60, Fau takes us on a pilgrimage, retracing the route the circus followed to the legendary tracks across the continent, in order to retell stories of passion and desire, in the paddocks and on the racetracks.
He offers us a portrait of this band of men who lived their dreams and accepted the risks that lay in wait every time they raced.
The film relives the golden age of the Continental Circus through the accounts of champions such as Giacomo Agostini, as well as previously unseen footage, and highlights of present day International Classic Grand Prix races.
And, even though nostalgia may be close at hand, the passion for racing remains as powerful as ever.
What makes this documentary unique is the unwavering support from enthusiasts who helped finance the film through crowdfunding - thus making it a real "family movie".
