No military enthusiast should miss these superb highlights of Britain’s three-day ‘War and Peace Show’ at Beltring in Kent. The ‘99 show featured the world’s largest gathering of private military vehicles and drew ‘living history’ groups from all over Europe. Nearly 3000 military vehicles were on display and in action - from bicycles, jeeps and armoured cars to the ‘heavy metal’ of trucks, tanks and big guns, while ‘Living history’ re-enactments included a truly thunderous tribute to Steven Spielberg’s epic film ‘Saving Private Ryan’.
