The King of the Roads Review returns to once again prove that there’s nothing quite like the spectacle of road racing, this time offering the official highlights from four of the season’s most exciting races - Armoy, Cookstown, Imatra and Macau.
Up first on our review is Ireland’s longest running road race, the Cookstown 100. This year’s start line included up-and-coming road racers Mike Browne, Darryl Tweed and road racing legend Michael Dunlop providing plenty of competitive action with some surprising results. Following Cookstown, our focus turns towards Finland’s Imatranajo which saw both solo and sidecar action. Watch on as previous Imatra winner Erno Kostamo does battle with the world’s fastest road racer Peter Hickman, making his debut at the event.
We then return to Armoy where a dominant Michael Dunlop claimed five race wins, including his 10th Race of Legends victory. Despite tough competition from the likes of Davey Todd, Dean Harrison and Mike Browne, Dunlop would go unbeaten proving he is still a force to be reckoned with. The review then rounds up at the glamorous Macau Grand Prix which once more saw a star studded start line including FHO Racing’s team of Peter Hickman, Josh Brookes and Michael Rutter.
So sit back and enjoy this scintillating review which captures the true essence of road racing in all its glory and the best thing is - it’s yours to own forever.
