Kenny Roberts is arguably the greatest all-round motorcycle racer the world has ever seen. Awesome skills honed on the 100mph ovals of dirt track racing and in Formula 750 were then brilliantly applied to the 500cc World Championship, where Roberts stunned the sport by taking victory in his first season, 1978. Incredibly, he secured the World Championship again in 1979 and 1980, earning millions of fans and the well-deserved title “King Kenny”.

After proving himself a champion on all kinds of track, Roberts turned to the business side of racing, rapidly becoming one of the world’s most successful motorcycle team owners.
