World Motocross Championship Review 1988 NTSC - Description

It's early 1988 - British hero Dave Thorpe is out to reclaim the motocross 500cc world championship title - but determined Belgian star Eric Geboers had other ideas.

Pull on your day-glo race suit, kick the big two-stroke in to life and get ready for the ride of your life - 1980's style - as Duke turns back the clock to a nail-biting year of all-action MX championship racing.

Now, finally, the awesome full story of the fast and furious 1988 season in an action-packed three hours of stunning footage is available on DVD.

Staggering leaps, bone-crunching falls, amazing race action and fascinating interviews with leading riders put you at the heart of the title battle as the drama unfolds.

Two-times world champion Thorpe was determined to make up for the disappointment of 1987, when injury prevented him defending his crown.

As so often happens, Thorpe quickly discovered he had a fight on his hands - his closest rival was also his Honda teammate Geboers.

The determined Belgian was bidding to become the first man in history to win world championships in 125cc, 250cc and 500cc competition.

It makes for a tense and exciting season - especially when you consider how many other talented riders were also plying their trade at the same time.
