Product description

After a series of epic battles on dust, mud and sand, the 2012 ACU Maxxis British Motocross Championship chases all came down to the final day of nail-biting action. Settle in for almost four hours of high-jumping, mud-spitting MX action as we bring you the official review of a spectacular season.

Stunning footage from all 8 rounds brings you the incredible stories of the MX1 and MX2 championships, with helmet-mounted cameras putting you at the heart of the action. Plus, there are interviews with all the key players, making sure you are kept up to date with all the twists and turns of the British MX saga.

Kevin Strijbos stamped his authority on the MX1 class early in the year, but stunning rides from Mattis Karro set up what looked like a scintillating championship battle. Injury robbed Karro of his title shot, but Shaun Simpson stepped up to take the fight to Strijbos and ensure a dramatic last day decider for the crown.

The MX2 championship saw pre-season favourites Arnaud Tonus and Zach Osborne out of contention due to injury, clearing the way for Elliott Banks Browne and Mel Pocock to put on one of the most thrilling title battles ever. They traded the lead almost race by race, entering the very last moto of the season split by just one point – it is a jaw-dropping season finale you will want to watch again and again.

There are also some fascinating appearances during the season from the likes of Carl Nunn, Josh Coppins and Max Anstie, and watch out for the speed of Nicolas Aubin at round 4 – it is spectacular!
