Round 13 of the 1990 500 GP Championship took place at Brno in Czechoslovakia before an ecstatic crowd of 100,000 fans. Some spectacularly tight, fast racing was on the menu with Messrs. Rainey (Yamaha), Gardner (Honda), Lawson (Yamaha) and Schwantz (Suzuki) all on 'maximum attack'. The knives came out in the 250 battle between Carlos Cardus and American John Kocinski when some rather less than friendly gestures were seen waving in the air at the end of the event. An excellent round full of spectacular action.
