The GP circus moved to Donington Park for Round 12 of the 1989 500cc World Championship series. The British public witnessed one of the best Grands Prix of the season. Our cameramen recorded the best of the action from the 500, 250 and sidecar races. Wayne Rainey (Yamaha) was starting to feel the pressure of leading the series only 8.5 points ahead of Eddie Lawson (Honda). Sito Pons had to finish ahead of Jacques Cornu to retain his 250 crown in his 100th GP and he meant to celebrate in style by winning. Watch the tremendous battle in what was to be another superb 250 race.
