The action is always electrifying at one of the world's last great road races, the Ulster Grand Prix. And the cameras were there to see if the Suzukis could put it across the Hondas in the Formula One event.

Honda were led by local hero Joey Dunlop fresh from success at the Isle of Man TT which has many similarities to the roads used at Dundrod.

Suzuki were led by fellow Irishman Neil Robinson who had shown at the TT and subsequently that he was the rider who might eventually take over Joey's crown.

Swooping down the fearsome Deer's Leap, sliding through the Quarry Bends and roaring down Rushy Hill to Leathemstown, the racing was fast and furious all day in a variety of weather conditions.

Totally different to anything seen on the purpose built tracks this film depicts why thousands of race fans throughout the world mourn the decision to remove the grands prix from the pure road  circuits.

Roger Marshall, Roger Burnett and a host of other stars cope admirably with the hazard of handling hot horsepower on the humps and bumps of the Black Mountain.

And to cap it all you witness a stunning racing speed lap of the circuit filmed from Marshall's Rothmans Honda. The first ever on bike camera lap of Dundrod is not to be missed!
