Passenger trains features many no-heat
locos on Inverness - Edinburgh
services like 37099, 37100, 37152, 37175, 37294, 37510.
We also see many of the ex-Welsh 37/4s
transferred to Scotland
including 37427, 37428, 37420 and 37431.
Sleepers looks at the Inverness and Fort William
trains with pairs of 37/0s and 37/5s climbing Slochd summit.
It wasn't always matching pairs in Inter
City livery with 37697+37696 in Coal Branding and 37/0s 37170 and 37255.
The Fort William
sleeper features a mixed bag of 37/4s like 37403 in BR Green, 37406, 37410,
37423, 37424, 37425 and 37430.
Luxury trains features Inter City Land
Cruises, the Royal Scotsman and other Pullmans
and Railtours.
Locos include 37152+37221 shunting at Kyle
and 37099 and BR blue 37275 'Oor Wullie' working the Royal Scotsman.
Freight covers loaded and empty OTAs on the
Highland Mainline and various double-headed trains on the West
Highland line including EPS 37, 37606!
Plus, pairs of 37s on MGRs and tankers on
the G&SW route.
All in all this is a tremendous
recollection of what was an interesting decade for the Class 37 in Scotland. From
the final days of Large Logo to the EWS years, the 1990s had it all.
