Launched into a world of grey austerity, here was a stunningly beautiful and glamorous sports car, a harbinger of dawning prosperity, a glimpse of the future.

Throughout it fifteen years of production, the ‘Big’ Healey encapsulated all that was best in the hairy-chested, traditional, no-nonsense British sports car, a reputation that has only increased since manufacture ceased in 1967 – small wonder that enthusiasts the world over today pay large sums to own one of these truly great cars.
