Wayne Rainey looked set to dominate GP racing as Agostini did in the late-'60s and early-'70s until fate intervened.
A career ending crash at Misano in 1993 brought to an end a remarkable run of three back-to-back World Championships in an era when competition for the crown was stronger than ever.
This download shows Rainey at his best against other great racers such as Randy Mamola, Eddie Lawson and Wayne Gardner.
The programme highlights Rainey’s intense rivalry with Texan Kevin Schwantz, who eventually went on to win the title in 1993 following Wayne's accident.
There's also rare footage of Rainey testing out of a season and also of him dirt bike racing with Kenny Roberts!
