130 of the world's best rally drivers competed over 5 days of special stages covering the widest possible variations in UK terrain. It’s the Lombard RAC Rally and, in 1983, Mikkola and Blomqvist in the Audi Quattro 'supercars' were the main opposition of Vatanen and Toivonen in the works Opels as well as scores of other hard-driving competitors. Good coverage of 21 different stages, including use of a helicopter, make this an enjoyable motorsport programme. Also stars Jimmy McRae (Opel Manta 400) and Russell Brookes (Vauxhall Chevette HSR).
