For the world's best motorcycle trials riders, the Trial des Nations is the 'Olympics' of the sport. The 1997 Trial was held in the Isle of Man so Great Britain were on home soil and hoping at last to break the six year strangle hold of the Spanish superstars. Competitors from Italy, Finland, France and the Czech Republic were also determined to win medals but they all had to join the thousands of spectators in awe and amazement at the performance of the Brits. Steve Colley and 1997 World Champion Dougie Lampkin led the rout with fantastic individual performances. Don't miss the very best of the action and drama in this superb review.
