Round 13 of the 1991 World Championship season took the riders to Brno, Czechoslovakia to the delight of 50,000 cheering fans. Championship leader Wayne Rainey on his Marlboro Yamaha, Michael Doohan (Rothmans Honda) and the Texan Kevin Schwantz (Lucky Strike Suzuki)., John Kocinski (Marlboro Yamaha) and Wayne Gardner (Rothmans Honda) toughing it out. Meanwhile Luca Cadalora faced a crucial test in the 250cc class. His rival Helmut Bradl knew that only victory in Czechoslovakia would keep his own championship hopes alive. This was where sheer determination and heroism was to win the day in a truly epic battle for victory.
