Before World Superbikes there was another World Championship for production-based motorcycles: The TT Formula 1.
As its name suggests the main event took place on the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course and formed the centre piece of the Tourist Trophy after it ceased to be a Grand Prix World Championship round.
The rivalry between the major manufacturers was intense as - unlike Grand Prix racing - Joe Public could go out and buy a bike very similar to the winning machine.
This collection of programmes captures the authentic atmosphere of the event between 1987 and 1994 in the original highlights packages broadcast on the fledgling BSkyB.
Greats like Joey Dunlop, Steve Hislop, Carl Fogarty and Phillip McCallen were winners during this era but other equally talented riders made their very best efforts to take the laurels.
Steve Cull, Trevor Nation, Johnny Rea, Robert Dunlop and Roger Burnett are just a few of the huge field of riders who took on the challenge of the 37.73 mile Mountain Course.
Some of the most memorable TT moments took place in the F1 race including Steve Hislop's breathtaking ride in the 1989 race or his Norton heroics in 1992.
Featuring RC30s, Norton Rotary, Yamaha OW01 and Honda RVFs this is a high octane blast down memory lane.
