The legendary Colin McRae is celebrated in the latest work from Jim Bamber, showing the Scottish rally hero where he is best remembered – at the wheel of a World Rally Championship car.
This design is inspired by the Subaru Impreza which McRae took to World Championship glory in 1995, when he became the first British driver to claim the title.
Colin drove many cars during his illustrious career, but it is the iconic Impreza he is most closely identified with.
The model, made in poly-resin, is cold cast in two pieces which are hand painted before assembly. Each model is about 14cm long x 9cm wide x 8cm tall and weighs approximately 550gms.
A contribution from each sale will be made to the Colin McRae Vision charity.
