Archive film from the National Institute of
Agricultural Engineering, established in 1942 to design farm equipment, shows
prototype equipment being tested between 1945 and 1955. They include manure
spreaders, fertiliser drills, planters, crop dusters, tractors, harvesters and
more. The original footage is silent, but Chris Opperman provides informed
commentary.
