Product description

Over nine hours of action-packed, non-stop freight, passenger and parcel workings across England's most popular stations.

Disc 1.
Exeter:
The Railway Diary team visited Exeter St. Davids to record the activity in and around the station complex as well as many classic locations between Exeter and Newton Abbott.

Stafford:
The station at Stafford is legendary amongst rail enthusiasts for its abundance of loco hauled workings - and we weren't to be disappointed.

Toton & Nottingham:
A visit to the busy Midlands station of Toton as well as Nottingham Midland revealed the many freight and passenger services which pass through these stations.

Disc 2.
Derby:
A 153/170 combination with the 05:58 Nottingham to Cardiff, followed by 'Fragonset' 47 no. 47709 on the Sheffield to Birmingham New St route, set the tone for an action-packed day of loco activity.

Crewe:
Follow the cameras on the platform at Crewe as well as Winsford, on the West Coast Main Line, to capture the passenger and freight workings.

Reading:
Our cameras at Reading and Reading West stations captured railway activity around the station complex as well as the many freight workings between Didcot and the Southern.

Disc 3.
Doncaster:
A memorable day of filming at Doncaster started as 06:59 as 47744 arrived to stable up for 'Thunderbird' duties and did not finish until late in the evening.

Nuneaton:
Filming at Nuneaton commenced at 06:59. as 90017 powered through with the Euston sleeper, and continued throughout the day and early evening.

Birmingham:
Filming started at Tame Bridge as 60043 was noted on the Wolverhampton to Scunthorpe steel, and continued through to the evening as 67010 left New Street with the Low Fell to Plymouth mail.
