îBetween 1964 and 1988, Farnborough grew from an exclusively British aviation showcase to one of the world's leading airshows featuring the very latest in international aviation.
John Blake, show commentator from 1974-1992 and author of 40 Years at Farnborough's S.B.A.C International Aviation Showcase, presents this unique show-by-show film history of the event in those action-packed years.
Combining newsreel footage and official film records of Farnborough, it presents a dazzling array of aircraft, with ground cameras recording the ultra low-level fly past, air-to-air filming and even early in-cockpit material! All the shows featured are in full colour.
