World Touring Car Championship 2006

2005’s winner Andy Priaulx, racing for team BMW UK, tussled at the top of the table to defend his title. In the end the 32-year old from Guernsey took a consecutive Touring Car crown, but it came right down to the wire as driver and team worked in perfect harmony.

World Touring Car Championship 2007

With just two races left, Priaulx was tied at the top of the title table with French rival Yvan Muller, and four other drivers retained a chance of snatching the championship. The drama would continue into the final race, where Priaulx and Alfa Romeo's James Thompson fought a battle of the Brits for the WTCC crown.
