In 1988, Duke Marketing commissioned a documentary about the Isle of Man from a local production company who specialise in Manx subjects. There are other films about the Isle of Man including our own 'Traa dy Liooar' and of course TT films and short videos about finance and manufacturing industries on the island. What our customers asked for, however, was a programme that firstly brought all of the above subjects together, then showed the Island as it is in in the 1980s, giving a comprehensive 'flavour' of what the Isle of Man is all about. This video portrays a beautiful place, which is unique in so many ways.
