Revealing in-car camera footage provides gripping viewing as they negotiate the twists and turns in foggy and wet conditions, capturing some dramatic moments in their Opel Manta 400 rally car.

During one section Vatanen clips the wall at speed, spectacularly puncturing a tyre but they continue to drive on as rubber shreds from the wheel rims! A review of this documentary in Autosport sums it up nicely...

At the Rally Show presentation that evening in Villa Marina, Douglas, there was a delay getting the pre-presentations show underway. Then David Vine (a famous TV sports commentator at the time, working for Rothmans on this event), strode onto the stage, to say: “Sorry for the delay folks. We’ve been working flat out to get the video footage from today’s stages processed so we can show you some clips here tonight. This first one is some in-car footage from Ari and Terry Harryman on Tholt-y-Will. We think you’ll like it.” When it reached the “Dear God” cattle grid, the assembled crowd of experienced rally enthusiasts, fellow competitors and marshals, simply erupted into an almighty roar of appreciation. The volume of which must have come close to shattering the windows……"
