As dawn broke over the Isle of Man on June 11, 2010, the scene was set for racing history to be made.

Padgetts Honda star Ian Hutchinson had dominated the 2010 Isle of Man TT winning the first four solo races to equal the long-established record of Phillip McCallen. With just one race left – the Dainese Senior TT – Hutchy stood on the edge of history; he could become the first person ever to win 5 TT races in a week and complete a clean-sweep of the solo classes.

However, Manxman Conor Cummins was in fine form and had the support of the Isle of Man fans, Guy Martin was determined to score his first TT win and, as ever, the legend John McGuinness could not be discounted.

Fans the world over expected the 2010 Senior TT to be an epic, but no one could have predicted just how astounding it would prove to be.
