A gripping double feature about up-and-coming privateers racing against the ‘big names’, with great performances from the 1977 Dutch TT and 1981 Race of the Year and Pro-Am races. Firstly we see brilliant Tom Herron and world-champion-to-be Kork Ballington putting up some great performances in Assen the 1977 Dutch TT. Sheene, Hartog, and Hennen also feature. We then move 4 years on to Mallory Park for the 1981 Race of the Year and Pro-Am race in Mallory Magic. The riders are all riding identical production-racing Yamahas. Barry Sheene, Graeme Crosby and Randy Mamola diced with Ballington and Ron Haslam on the big Honda is just one of the other featured riders in what could well be the last ever 'Race of the Year’.
